Psychotherapy: Intentional Growth for Complex Lives
I work with high-achieving professionals who want more than symptom relief—people looking for real clarity about who they are and where they're headed. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I provide psychotherapy through secure telehealth, working with individuals and couples navigating the pressures of demanding careers, complicated relationships, and the harder question of what a well-lived life actually looks like for each person.
Intention
A well-lived life is rarely accidental. Since 2001, I've worked with individuals, couples, and organizations on the same underlying problem: closing the gap between what you say matters to you and how you're actually spending your days.
Whether what's in front of you is anxiety, a relationship that's grown complicated, or the nagging sense that you're capable of more than "managing"—that's the work I do. The goal isn't just coping better. It's building a life that doesn't require constant management in the first place.
Elite Care, Without the Commute
Your time is your most valuable asset, and I've built this practice around that. All sessions happen through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth—no waiting room, no commute, no schedule built around anyone's hours but yours.
I'm authorized to practice in 39 states, so if your career has you moving or traveling frequently, your care moves with you. No waiting rooms. No transit. Just a private, focused session, wherever you happen to be.
The Approach: Value-Driven Action
My approach sits at the intersection of insight and action. We'll spend real time understanding the history and patterns that got you here—but insight on its own rarely changes anything by itself. Alongside that exploration, we'll work on practical skills and strategies you can actually use, so understanding why turns into doing something different.
I work best with people who are motivated and ready to do real work, not just talk about doing it. That tends to mean professionals, academics, and high-functioning individuals and couples dealing with the specific weight of high-pressure environments—along with the more universal stuff underneath: unfulfilled potential, relationship friction, the sense that something needs to shift.
Areas of Focus:
My practice is grounded in cultural competence and genuine inclusivity, and includes:
-
Identity & relationships — care for LGBTQ+ individuals, along with poly-affirming and kink-aware perspectives
-
High-stakes careers — professionals, veterans, and academics navigating complex systems and outsized pressure
-
Sexual wellness — counseling focused on sexual identity and related concerns
-
Partnership transitions — including premarital and "pre-partnering" counseling for couples building something together from a clear foundation
